Does draw.io export real BPMN XML?

No. draw.io uses its own XML format (mxGraphModel). Even when you use BPMN shapes, the export isn't BPMN 2.0 compliant. It can't be imported into process engines like Camunda or Flowable, or into other BPMN tools like Signavio or ARIS.
